What do you think is the key to keeping the weight off after the initial weight loss? I have heard about a lot of people that have great success with this diet but gain a bunch of weight once they eat a few carbs again.

    1. First of all, Congrats! Great Job loseing the weight and getting healthy.

      As for your question, I have been able to keep the weight off for 2 years now. The secret is to understand that you will need to make a lifestyle change and eat like this for the rest of your life. That may sound scary, but really it is all about good nutrition. I eat some fruits and root veggies once in a while, but I refuse to eat processed or fake food. It really is about being healthy. 

      I’ve heard of people gaining the weight back and it somewhat confuses me. I mean, Why would someone want to go back to eating sugar and carbs when they made them so fat in the first place. Doesn’t it only make sense that the weight will come back when you go back to eating the way you used to eat? I makes sense to me.
