Does Raspberry Ketones Work?

Many of us who are over 50 struggle with belly fat as we are losing weight. I actually lost over 60 pounds by following a low carb lifestyle. However, it seemed like the hardest part to lose was the weight in my middle. I kept dropping pants sizes but it seemed to take a while for my arrow glass figure to begin to show.

Adding the Raspberry Ketones to my regimen really helped a lot with my belly fat. I noticed a difference in my stomach area within a couple of weeks. This supplement also helped with my energy level.

Recently it seems like there is a lot of talk on the internet about Raspberry Ketones and its effectiveness. So I decided to write a post about my personal experience using this supplement.

First of all, let’s talk about what this weight loss supplement is. Raspberry ketone is a chemical that comes from raspberries. There are many articles on the internet that claim it helps to improve metabolism and helps you to lose weight at a faster rate. In my experience, I did notice an increase in my energy and my tummy does feel much slimmer.

Does raspberry ketones work?

Although there are many diet and weight loss products on the market, the most effective way to lose weight first and foremost is to follow a healthy diet based on good nutrition. But adding extra vitamins and supplements like Raspberry Ketone can be a great addition to your regimen.

Raspberry Ketones does contain caffeine. So if you are sensitive to caffeine, then this may not be the product for you. Or simply take the product early in the day so it doesn’t keep you up at night. For me, I loved the extra energy that it gave me.


When I am choosing a supplement I choose products that are natural and or organic. I only want the best products for my body. And of course, it is also recommended to discuss it with your doctor.

  1. Interesting post thanks you for your experience using raspberry ketones . You are correct in saying that there has been a lot of articles and information on the benefits of raspberry ketones on the internet lately . You are also right about being over fifty and belly fat LOL I know from personal experience . After reading your post I think I may be checking out the ketones and see if it suits me  as I am a bit sensitive to caffeine. 

  2. Your spot on choosing natural items for your diet! Again and again research keeps showing that the more you eat processed food the more likely you are to get sick. I’m surprised at how cheap processed foods are compared to natural foods too, you would think the opposite would be true!

    Thanks for the tips on the caffeine content. I am super sensitive to caffeine so I don’t think these are the right product for me. Do you have any other recommendations on good options that don’t have caffeine?

    1. If you want some extra energy and help with your belly fat, I first suggest a low carb diet. Then I would suggest supplements. There are some products out there that don’t have caffeine like These Raspberry Ketones with Mango. However something else that helps with fat loss and metabolism is green tea. You could sip some caffeine free tea throughout the day for extra energy. I hope this helps.

  3. I like this option. Sounds like an easy alternative to loose weight and remove or lessen those extra belly fats. Thanks for the info about caffeine as it really does have a great effects on me.   4. I can totally relate with you. It seems like after having kids, belly fats has always been an enemy! 

    I have never heard of raspberry ketones before. For a long time I thought the only way to get rid of it is by doing sit-ups. If there is such easy method I won’t mind trying out! Thank you for your recommndation. 

    By the way, do you know whether having the raspberry on its own can provide the same level of benefit? 

    1. I think you would have to eat a lot of raspberries to get the same results far as increasing metabolism and helping with belly fat. But I will tell you raspberries are extremely healthy and low in carbs compared to other fruits. They also are a great source of fiber.

  5. Well this another great way of loosing the belly fat that has been bothering me for a while  I am not caffeine addicted so I can take any time off day and night  I won’t loose a wink if sleep and I will be fitter and healthier thanks again for this great article it do helps alot.

    I’m glad to read from a real user with self-made experience. The product is not very expensive and this is why I would to try it my self after learning more about it.

    The fact that it increases your energy level is very positive. The weight loss aspect doesn’t have to occur in a second, step by step is what I prefer.

  7. Good to know that Raspberry ketone works to get you slimmer in your tummy area. That is a hard part to lose for anybody. After 50 it seems really difficult.

    Caffeine might not be that bad because most people get by with it. I am wondering about other chemicals if the product is made of.

    You are right, the internet is full of information. It is hard to find the right product at times.

    I just have a healthy low GI vegetarian diet and use a cinnamon tea in the morning. It is slowly but seems to work for me.

    1. There are many different brands out there. I just like these because they are natural. They seem to give me some energy and they seem to make my tummy feel slimmer. By the way, I love cinnamon tea. I Bigelow makes a cinnamon tea. I love it with a little bit of heavy whipping cream and a drop or two of stevia.

It states …¨there are some concerns about the safety of raspberry ketone because it is chemically related to stimulant called synephrine …might cause feelings of jitteriness, increase blood pressure or rapid heartbeat. In one report, someone described feelings of being shaky and a pounding heart beat (palpitations)¨.Did you suffer any of these symptoms?

    1. That is very interesting that Web MD has health concerns. I can tell you that I have never had any of those symptoms.  But I am not at all sensitive to caffeine. I think if you are concerned, show it to your doctor and see what he or she thinks.
